Richard Hakim

Richard Hakim studies and develops tools for neural decoding and brain-computer-interfaces (BCIs). His prior work is primarily experimental and includes studies on how movement is encoded in the motor cortex, how brain oscillations are generated, and the development of a suite of open-source computational tools. He received his undergraduate from UC Berkeley where he worked with Hillel Adesnik, and his PhD from Harvard where he worked with Bernardo Sabatini.
